Management Accountant
Reporting to the Managing Director , the successful candidate will join the Management Team and take line management responsibility for the Accounts Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly & Annual Reporting:
- Year-end annual accounts & liaison with auditors
- Managing working capital
- Managing annual budgeting process
- Preparation of detailed monthly pack for presentation to German parent company
Commercial:
- Working with Sales and Operations teams to streamline processes
- Managing facilities in UK and German banks, Bank Guarantees, LOCs and Forex
- Providing monthly KPIs and commentary for management team
- Overseeing preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Developing and improving financial reporting
Education / Requirements:
- Demonstrable accountancy experience ideally, in a similar role (qualified or part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Prior experience with Sage 200 would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
